Please give your best answer.

In a reaction between Liquid "A" and Liquid "B" on a fixed bed catalytic reactor, what volume should be consider to calculate the LHSV?, Volume of reactant "A" or volume of both reactants (A+B). Reactant "A" is considered as limiting and "B" is in excess.

Any answer would be appreciated.

Luis C.
