I estimate the compressor start-up procedure simply, as follows;
1. Check permisive signal
2. Push start button
3. lube oil pump start
4. compressor main motor start
(compressor main motor is not VVVF.)
At this point, spill-back(or anti surge) control valve might be fully opened. If so, should the capacity of this control valve be same as compressor capacity? In my opinion, a compressor that does not apply a VVVF motor makes a flow by designed capacity always and during start-up also,therefore, spill-back(anti surge) control has to cover the compressor design capacity.
I would like to get your opinion for the capacity of spill-back(anti surge) control valve.
