Hi,

I'm trying to design a cryogenic air separation unit in Aspen plus. I have made the flowsheet and put all the available flow and pressure data and I have achived the desired product output along with the necessary specification. However the problem is, HP column condenser duty is not exactly same as the LP column reboiler duty. There is a difference of around 4.8 Gcal/hr. How can i improve the cold balance. Also there's an error in convergence of the recycle water stream between DCAC and waste nitrogen chill tower. Please help

Which one is greater? condenser duty or reboiler duty?

And what is DCAC? Could you show us at least the pfd so we can understand your system?
