Dear All,
I have a telephonic interview with representative of Anadarko, Algeria. The interviewer are Greg Strickland (Production Engineering Manager) and Tony Waldron.
Can anyone share his experince and what can I expect in the interview.

mbashir:

First of all, an interview is considered a private event; personal names should not be transmitted. The interviewer(s) will be talking to you to find out some vital information required to make a hiring decision:
  • Your background and technical experience; is it specific to the type of position in question?
  • Your willingness to participate in a position for the scope of work described and for a given duration; do you have personal needs or requirements that may impede you fulfilling the work needs?
  • Your knowledge of the processes, engineering field, applications, and job duties required of the position in question;
  • Your availability to start at such a position - and how soon?
  • Your personal needs and requirements to mobilize to the job position: a wife? a family? a medical condition? personal business?
  • Your compensation requirements in accordance with the job description and scope of work;
  • Your ability to communicate effectively during the interview; can you express yourself correctly, effectively, and concisely? What language requirements will be needed to carry out the assignment with effectiveness?

There are other points that will probably be covered - but these will be directed at the specific nature and scope of work of the job assignment, and what it entails. I hope this short list helps you out.
