No. You need a batch distillation simulator.

You "could" try to model this using the dynamic simulator, but it really isn't what it was designed to do.

What is your intent to simulate a batch distillation with Hysys or any other commercial process simulators available? Just brief us the background of the system than a general doubt, memebers may give you useful ideas to proceed with.

i want to simulate batch distillation in chemcad,

components are THF, Water, Benzen and toulene.

Batch Duration is 16 hrs and qty is 4000 kgswith composition 1000 kgs THF, 100 ltrs water, 1000 Kgs benzen and remaining Toulene.

i started simulation in Chemcad but not converging
pls help me in this,
