Hi,

I m new to using pipesim software for multiphase flow calculations. i read manual of this software and tried my level best to calculate flow related parameters.

Problem is that, I have to transport condensate through a flow line to 30 km away. The condensate has a parrffin wax content. Wax appearance temperature is around 35 C. Using Schlumberger Pipesim, I have calculated the pressure required to transport the condensate 30 km away. To analyse wax deposition thickness and rate, I not familiar that how to calculate wax depositon thickness and rate in PIPSIM. In menu, there is operation tab, in which wax deposition utility is present. to select it it shows two methods BP & SHELL. In these methods, I m confuse that which variable i should input to get wax deposition conditions.

Please help me to find out the wax conditions.

Also please help me which extension i can use for simulation e.g. Branch or Network, as it is a flow line.

Thanks in Advance.
