Hi,
Recently i came across a comment which said that parallel pump (dissimilar pumps) operation is not acceptable in autoignition service. I would like to know what is the reason for that, why it is avoided to have parallel pump operation in autoignition service. Is it something related to safety reasons arising due to pump shaft seal failure which may occur due to continous parallel operation of one higher and other smaller capacity pumps.
Thanks in advance
