Mehul,

Naphtha cracker furnace is combination of heat transfer and reaction unit. I had simulated it in dynamic simulation. I used Pyro Yield shift reaction data for simulating reaction pattern. This will basically have inlet composition Vs outlet compostion, COT Vs outlet compostion, COP Vs outlet compostion. You need to simulate all sections of furnace radient and convective both to have real picture of furnace operation.Radient section is was devided into more subsections in series to incorporate reaction and heat transfer effects. Also note heat of endothermic reaction is to be given to furnace.I uderstand this is complex process..If you have PFD of the unit u can refer it.

Regards,
Abdul

Abdul,
have you done it in HYSYS ? in HYSYS there is not any perfect furnace model like petrosim, i want kinetic data of reaction, if you have any refering doccuments pl. send me at my mail ID mehul10941@gmail.com.
