good day everyone!

I'm a trainee at a petrochemical industry and I'm currently working on the flash drum issue.

hope you could help me solve this one.

1. What are the probable causes of over pressure in a high pressure steam condensate flash drum?

2. What are the possible actions or recommendations to solve the said issue?

Attached here is a simple schematic diagram of the high pressure steam system.

your answers will be very much appreciated. thank you very much. :)

The topic (wording somehow different) appeared yesterday under the title "high pressure steam condensate flash drum" and I have responded to it. I cannot find it now.
On the other hand an almost identical topic titled "high pressure steam condensate flash drum" (without attachment) is in process, http://www.cheresources.com/invision/topic/15961-high-pressure-steam-condensate-flash-drum.
However explanations from any part are welcomed.
However replies already given to mentioned topic also fit this case (if you are a student, some points may be too detailed, but the topic has been in "industrial professionals").
