Dear all,

Hello, I've done my simulation of existing gas treatment plant in Hysys. The objective of my study was to check adequacy of the existing equipment for being able to handle well fluid capacities and conditions under different cases. I've got 4 cases with differents capacities and conditions. For ex:

1. Base case (winter and summer)
2. Base case + low pressure (winter and summer)
2. Extra 25% of flow (winter and summer)
3. Extra 25% of flow + low pressure

As result I defined:

1. Required glycol flow to meet hydrates formation temperatures
2. Required propane compressor duty to meet HC and water dew points temp
3. Required reboilers duty, collers duty
4. Checked pressure drops
4. And so on....

Now I need to write some report, where I can show results. I beleive you did it before. Please give me some advises what to include in report and may be I can get report from you as an example for me - to make my report with my values.

I've discussed all cases with my manager and he is happy with simulation, but report still is required (plots, tables and so on.).

After I will write a report we will discuss what changes can be done to handle fluid for the most worst case.

Hope I will get help with my issue from you, thanks.

Regards,
Dmitry

Dmitry,
If you learned a bit of Visual Basic programming, you could automate your process by dumping results for each case to Excel and then select the limiting case for each piece of equipment. AspenTech has programs to do this if you lack the skills. I'm surprised that you need to write a report for such a routine task.

Regards,
Bobby
