Dear Sirs
i have a question: how to choose an electric motor for a centrifugal pump?
i have thought the motor size, i.e. power, is choosen evaluating power of the pump at runout..
is this my innuendo correct?if not, is there anyone that could me teach about?

Best regards

a1986,

Motor rating for pumps has been discussed previously on the forum in a few posts. My advice to all is that before raising a question you might check out using the "search" feature of the forum whether the query you have in mind has already been raised in the forum by somebody else.

For example, the link provided below more or less answers your question:

Regards,
Ankur.
