What will be the temperature of natural gas in an iron pipe, in gas distribution network? Following are the attributes considered.
1. Iron pipe of 3 inch to 6 inch diameter
2. 5 to 6 feet depth
3. Heated to take care of pressure reduction
4. Soil type varies accross the network.

Also if pre heated how long it will take to convert the temperature to normal ground temperature?

On a day when the atmostphere temperature is changing from 0 degree to 10 degree, will there be a temperature difference that will be noticeable in the pipe, based on the temperature coefficient?
