Hello,

I am faced with some difficults with Chemcad. I am trying to model the Hydrocyclone. I entered all the required fields but keep saying:"Error: HCYC 8, No PSD defined". I was wondering what this PSD mean? and why the simulation is not working. I have to admit that I am dealing with rare earth elements therefore I created those compunds and Chemcad did not give me any option of entering the particle size when i was ceating the data. When this did not work, I tried the the Chemcad divider but all it does it to split the entire inlet flow into ouputs. I wanted the option to specify how many of X compound goes in the overflow and the remaining into underflow. see the attach. your expertise is appreciated,
Alan

Dear All,

I got it. I figured it out. it was right there in front of me. I used the components separator instead of hydrocyclone.

Thank you
