Dear Experts,

Suppose I have C1 to C20 components and a lot of pseudo components in my streams and I wish to display the results of only C1 to C6, what changes can I do in the code of "tff" file. I know the code for getting the results for selected properties but coudn't find the way to get results for selected components.

Please help.

Regards,

Arpit Jain

You need to add a "COMPS" section to your TFF file.   In Aspen Plus Help, search for "Qualifier Descriptions for DISPLAY and PROP" for instructions and options.

You can google "COMPS filetype:tff" for some examples.

Thank you for the help. Yes, COMPS will work.

I have one more query:

Some of the properties that I have mentioned in tff file are not showing exactly where they should show. For instance,

prop volflmx  prop-label="Vol Flow"

when written only for liquid and vapor phase does not come up in the results. But when I mention it in the total mixture section also it shows up in total results only not for vapor and liquid phases.

Similarly, results for enthalpy, critical temperature, vapor pressure etc. is also not showing up.

Please suggest if I am doing something wrong here.

I have found the solution to this problem:

The vapor and liquid properties are only shown up if the properties are requested by Prop-Sets in the simulation.

Arpit
