Dear All,

I am going through the process of manufacturing of Sulfuric acid from raw sulfur. Porous heterogeneous catalyst (V2O5) is used in the process. I have few question about the catalyst itself as foll

- I want to know about the properties and characteristics of the catalyst surface area?

- Active site of the catalyst

- Size and form of catalyst process

- pore size distribution

Thanks

You need this information to do some reactor design modelling or something?

Calculations using number of active sites will be much more complicated than using an effectiveness factor. Recall Thiele modulus, LH kinetics etc from reaction kinetics texts.
