Hi, am in a desperate mood rigth now i am suppose to design a vacuum distillation unit (dry) in just a week. honestly i don't know how to start and time is runnin out. thank you

For a school project? If you have hysys or aspen plus, you could get some numbers in less than an hour. But you would still need to do quite a number of other stuff. But first of all, you need to decide what are the feed composition, flow rates, pressure and temperature and the product specs that you need, like purity

Hi thoruim90.....yes this is a school project and this what i have so far...flow rate and temperature of feed and those of the products as well. the products are lvgo, hvgo and residue...anyway i am going to search for aspen or hysis right away . i don't have one.i appreciate really do.
