Dear all engineer fella,

We have a 8 m3 tanker truck for transportation of (molten) sulphur, with heating coil inside. now this truck is on maintenance and we have to clean the surface inside tank as well. Our problem is remaining sulphur deposit that stuck in the surface wall, also some rust.

does someone have any idea of solving this problem? for instance, using chemical that dissolve sulphur, any idea what cheap and save chemical? or do you think using manual high pressure water jet cleaning is enough?

thank you for the respond

Sulfur melts at around 120°C so if you can find a way to heat up the deposits, that'd be a start.
