With that info at hand, you won't be able to do calculations at all.

First of all, you need to have these:

1. Densities for all streams (Vapor/Light Liquid/Heavy Liquid)

2. You also need to have either of:

  • Minimum particle diameter for disengagement, or
  • K-value

3. You'll also be needing the required holdup/surge times for your liquid inventory.

While I won't attempt to discuss everything, it's wise if you can obtain a book on vessel sizing. If you have a copy of GPSA Engineering Data Book, that'd be a good start.

doogong,

Present your efforts in terms of the calculations you have done for sizing of the 3-phase separator. Cheresources members will help you in correcting / updating your calculations, but please do not expect anybody to do the calculations on your behalf.

Cheresources community is there to help students where specific questions are asked by students on work which they have already done. This community does not encourage students to post homework assignments as it is and ask members to provide ready-made solutions for their homework assignments.

This community refuses to encourage or endorse spoon feeding which is detrimental for the future of the students themselves. This community is more than willing to help those students who have put enough of hardwork and are facing obstacles in bringing their own work to conclusion.

Regards,

Ankur.
