Hi there,

I've been looking up for some explanation about how does equation for mass balance looks like in absorption with chemical reaction in liquid phase according to differential volume of particular phase.

Well, this looks simple in physical absorption process and result in receiving: mass transfer unit and height of mass transfer unit. In physical absorption three fluxes take part in balance: Inlet, Oulet and Mass transfer flux.

I've found lot of film theory solutions on chemical absortion, however, I didnt find any solution for whole aparatus.

HERE IS THE QUESTION:

For now, I'm wondering if consumption in liquid phase needs to be included apart from those three fluxes. OR, does consumtion process by chemical reaction is included in Mass transfer flux as the solutions for film say?

Thx in adv.
