I am working on a project in which I need some support from you people.
I want to use Solar Water Heater to heat the water up to 90-110 degree C in the Boiler Feed Water Tank.
Currently what happens is using a steam line from the Boiler to heat the water in Feed Water Tank.
My objective is to conserve the fuel usage of that boiler by using Solar Water Heater to heat that water in the Boiler Feed Water Tank and then supply it to the Boiler for conversion in steam.
I need to Design & compare between different types of solar collector and which has better efficiency and the area needed for each type of collector.
I also have another idea which is using solar collector to heat oil (Di-Phenyl) then use Heat Exchanger to heat the water by the hot oil. [Solar Economizer]
Boiler capacity: Fuel fired boiler with 20 ton per hour (TPH) steam generation capacity.
