Hello

I want to simulate deaerator in hysys, but there is no heat exchanger like deaerator in hysys, can any one help me to simulate it? thanks

.

.

.

or can anyone help me in data extraction from deaerator due to heat integeration problem..

in my deaerator 4 stream enter it and only 1 stream exit from it...

A deaerator is for removing dissolved gases like oxygen.

A simple shortcut distillation module should suffice.

There is no problem to introduce 4 streams into a vessel and to specify the outlet stream at saturated conditions (Deareator Function) in Hysys.  The tough part of a deaerator simulation is its converging process because more steam needs more BFW and more BFW needs more steam for deareation.

i think you should simulate it by according of packing column or tray column,  not heat  exchanger..
