Hello,

I've an operating unit with heat transfer fluids on both sides under liquid service.  If find that the TEMA recommended values of

shell side 2232 and tube side 8928 are exceeded.

SS act. 2913,Tube side 9268

The tube side has an axial nozzle, Where as no impingement nozzle is used on the shell side.

The unit has been operating at least 10 years, in conditions similar to those with no issues.  As we have heat transfer fluids we dont have a signficiant safety case.  So, my questions are..

1. How do i findout the background data on TEMA ?

2. Should i have any major conserns.?
