hello,

    I am 3rd year Chemical Engineering student, I am working on a project to remove water content from aq. Acetic acid. Please tell me what are the separation processes available for their separation.

Details are as follows:

Flow rate of aq. acetic acid = 250Kg/hr

Initial Water content = 5%

Desired water content <= 2%

Temperature not to exceed 90 degree Celcius.

Please help me out its urgent.

@Breizh  Thanxs for reply :)

Yes!! I tried Google but it shows results for distillation of dilute solutions, but mine is 95% conc. If I use progressive distillation then it won't be economical. Can it be separated by some other means?
