Hi....

I am working in Hysys for simulation of Sulphuric acid plant in Steady State Mode.....

i am getting problem with Recycle Stream in any unit ....

i am confused that why Hysys dont interperate Recycle Stream parameters itself, instead of putting manually first time....

is there any method that Hysys dont ask for recycle stream parameters, it calculate the recycle stream parameters from the main stream from where recycle stream is being extracted....

regards,

Could you rephrase that? Are you asking how to use the recycle unit op?

If you don't want to provide initial estimates then use PRO II. Otherwise, you must live with it.

Hi....

dear i am asking why we should have to give initial values to recycle stream, why hysys dont get values from the main stream from which recycle stream is being extracted.....

The recycle unit op uses iterations to match the input values to the values from the recycle stream. Evidently, an initial value must be given for the numerical solver to start with. Subsequently, it updates new values from the recycle stream. The better the initial guess, the faster the convergence. This is a common principle in all numerical solvers.
