1.) Anybody know best software from AspenTech to Integrate Hysys or Aspen Plus with Live plant data through i.e. process historians? I've heard of Aspen simulation workbook which allows integration between Excel and Aspen, anything else?

2.) With regards to creating custom user units in Hysys. Has visual basic code got any limitations in Hysys? Example if I create one unit and define global variable within will I be able to use that global variable in other custom unit? Visual basic in combination with Hysys would be very usefull if not limited too much.
