Dear All, 

 

I am working on extraction column. i want to increases the height of the same. Currently height of Column is 5 mtr and it has 5 no of stages, feed are going to charge @ 4.2 m^3/hr and solvent charging 3.15 m^3/hr. The problem is that we are getting main product in Raffinate @ about 0.1 to 0.2. I want to reduce it to lessthan 0.05. 

 

Plz give me the suggestion about this how am i proceed and if you have some relevant calculation, that would be great ..
