Selecting Proper Pump Suction Pressure Gauge

Could anyone help me how to select pressure gauge for pump suction? Please describe in details because I need detail information.

You have to determine the normal operating pressure and possible range. Decide if you want the gauge to display absolute pressure or gauge pressure. If it's a pulsing pump then consider specifying a dampner to smooth out the pressure reading. Select all options such as case material, glass or plastic cover, dial size, etc. Complete a datasheet (attached) or use a manufacturer's catalog to work out the complete model number.
