hi everybody

I an asked to prepare a power point about heat exchanger design and its basics. can anyone introduce some powerful and common references in heat exchanger design. these HEX types are needed:

double pipe heat exchanger

shell and tube heat exchanger

plate heat exchanger

spiral tube heat exchanger

any help would be appreciated.

Just about any book with the title of "Process Heat Transfer". There are books with this title by Hewitt,etal, Kern and Serth. Kern is probably the best known of the three.There is also "Heat Transfer in Process Engineering" by Cao and Heat Exchangers by Kakac/Liu.
