Hello,

for my bachelor thesis "economic evaluation in HYSIS 7.3", i have some question to the ones of you,
who have some experience in this field. I read the following papers: 1) Getting Started with Relative Economics in Aspen HYSYS
2) HYSYS_for_UTM_Degree_Program.pdf 3) HYSYS user guide. I can´t find any helpful information. I first want to evaluate the costs of single components before i get on with a plant, so i designed a single pump. This works, but the economic evaluation shows the total capital costs of 2.6 Mio €, so i think that this is a pricing for a complete plant, although i just put one pump in the case. Under equipment i find the equipment costs 5.000 € and the total direct costs 27.000 € for the pump. Where does the 27.000 € come from? I really don´t know where i can find the cost structure (icarus database) and what costs get into an evaluation. Has it something to do with the economic evaluation templates? Is there a step-to-step tutorial of how to get a economic evaluation with HYSYS? Can anyone please help me? Thanks a lot for all hints! I found an interesting video on youtube, but it´s for Aspen Plus ->

With best regards
