Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has seen this formula on liquid thermal expansion before and can let me know what the meaning of each of the term is. Thanks.

gpm= B*Q/(500*G*S)

Hi,

gpm=Gallon/min

B=Liquid expansion coefficient

Q=Solar radiation, BTU/hr

G=Liquid specific gravity

S=Specific heat, BTU/lb F
