 Dear all,

Alum is added in effluent water treatment plant for the function of flocculation.By the addition of alum PH of the effluent will come down. Lime is added to effluent to bring back  PH. I want to calculate lime quantity equivalent to alum for the neutralisation. Also what about the reaction chemistry during the above processes.......

Plz help me..
