Dear All,

 

Currently i am working on an indirect water bath heater API 12k.

 

Heat duty :  6.25 MW

Burner duty: 2 x 100% with seperate forced draft fans for aspiration.

Low Nox type burner.

 

One vendor has offered two seperate fire tubes each mounted with a 100% duty burner to meet the spec requirements.Both the firetubes are having multiple return tubes which  are manifolded at exit.

A single stack is provided common for both the gas exits.

 

I would like to know whether two seperate stacks are required as per API 12K , since we have two seperate gas paths.

 

Please help me in getting a solution based on your expertise & knowledge on silmilar heaters.
