Hi

maleic anhydride is produced by oxidation of normal butane in presence of catalyst. the reaction is known. but

in this process in recovery section, maleic acid is produced too. I dont know by which method maleic acid is

produced during this process and I dont know  anything about the reaction of producing maleic acid.

I will appreciate you if you give me some help.

thanks
