Hi All

I am working on design of  Aqueous nitric acid vapor condenser.

Heat of Dilution can be calculated by 1. Heat of Formation  data of Aq. Nitirc acid Solution 2. Enthalpy concentration Diagram for aq. Nitric Acid Solutions.

I could not find data of Heat of Dilution data for Aqueous Nitric Acid

Please help me in this regard

Thankins in Advance

SRShah

Dear Jatin

The same data I have downloaded  from Internate but does work for me as initial molality project concentration to 77.77%

I need Initial concentration 100% Nitric Acid.

Regards

Maximum heat occurs at 1:20 mole ratio dilution per http://nitrogen.atom...itric_acid.html -- this table may be more convenient for the application.  Are you trying to compute condenser duty or consider a scenario where tubesheet leaks cooling water into a concentrated Nitric solution?

I would like add heat of Solution after condensation of Nitric acid and water vapors in heat required for  condensation.

I shall also check tha reference
