I am looking for a calculation method to determine the tube wall temperature in a S&T exchanger. I have found one on a web site, but it merely presents a formula. There is no documentation or basis or indication of acceptance. Can anyone help, please?

Hi AlanCannon
There is a discussion of about 1 page in the book "Process Heat Transfer By Kern" page 97-98 on the determination of Pipe Wall Temperature. You can go through this and I am sure it will help you.
Hope it helps.

Ali
