Greetings everyone. I am currently trying to simulate a mixture on brine solution in HYSYS. Can someone help/guide me as to which property package should be used. My ultimate goal is to determine how much HC (predominately C1 through C4) can dissolve in this brine solution. One of my client is concerned about how much VOC's can be emitted by pumping this brine solution from salt caverns to the brine ponds.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

Try Aspen Properties with ELECTROLYTE NRTL PP.

PFA an example for your reference. Hope this helps.
