Dear all,

             Can someone explain to me what a shell pass means?I m not able to visualize 2 or shell pass. Pls throw some light on tube pass too.

 

p.s:Sorry to bore you with such a trivial question

2 shell pass can be thought of like two heat exchangers in series

Consider reading this paper ( page 6) or any textbook on HX for self teaching . Google could be a good support too.
