Hello,

Could anyone please explain to me is there any difference between Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) and Dry Vapor Pressure Equivalent for Gasoline.

Do RVP and DVPE mean the vapor pressure during summer or winter period.

In many specifications for gasoline there are different terms so I want to be sure if the RVP and DVPE mean the vapor pressure during summer/winter period.

RVP and DVPE are simply two different methods to determine the vapor pressure of gasoline, and will yield slightly different results.

It is not so that one is specifically intended for summer and the other specifically for winter.

As I said before: It is not so that one is specifically intended for summer and the other specifically for winter.

Different countries all over the world have different gasoline specifications. In some countries the vapor pressure for both summer and winter grades is specified as RVP. In other countries the vapor pressure for both summer and winter grades is specified as DVPE. That is their choice, nothing else.
