sha ,

Consider the search engine in this forum to support your query .

To select the right equipment you need to perform minimum hydraulic calculation .

Hope this helps

In order to know the downstream pressure of a control valve, you can calculate the pressure drop from your valve to your destination. Normally, the pressure requirement at your destination shall be known. Based on process conditions, you should know what the flow range is. You can use the maximum flow rate to calculate the pressure drop to your destination. After adding the pressure at your destination, the value is the pressure required at your downstream control valve. Hope this help.

Thank you very much I clear understand.from previous i understand pressure drop dowstream was P1 upstream -DeltaP from design criteria maybe 1 bar=P2

Dear Scha.

Downstream pressure of any control valve = downstream equipment operating pressure + pressure drop in piping between control valve and downstream equipment.

Thus if downstream pressure requirement is more than pressure drop across control valve will be less and if downstream pressure requirement is less than more pressure drop is required across control valve.

I hope this answer your query.

regards

Sanchit
