Hi friends :) is there anyone who know what does mean 'slip stream ' ?( the absorber column is designed to operate

 

on slip stream )

Whether or not it applies in your situation I don't know, but usually I have taken this to mean a by-pass installation e.g. as commonly used for sample analysers, where flow returns to the main process pipeline, or it can mean a take-off line from the main process line.... what happens to the outflow is another matter - in some refinery analyser applications it goes to the "gutter" i.e. does not return to the main process pipeline (perhaps for reasons of pressure) but is instead discarded into the residues.
