Dear all,

 

Recently I have been working on performance studies of venturi scrubber (fumes scrubber in DAP plant) and have generated an excel sheet based on Mr. Ankur's input on design equations for venturi scrubbers in his chemical engineering blog.

 

I need assistance in making sure that these calculations are close to practical. Any value addition to it or any suggestions in further improving it will be very inspiring for me,

I would have preferred if the calculation would have been based on calculation of throat velocity based on efficiency provided as an input. 

 

It is appreciable to see young engineers taking the initiative to develop such engineering tools and calculators.
