Mariemm,
Consider to ask support from Vendors , they know their products and what will be the best process conditions after performing Tests ( Jar test). They will tell you how is the material ( solid, liquid form) , what is the equipment needed based on consumption and concentration (size) , the type of mixing , the pump ,etc

in fact i need to design the coagulant and flocculant tanks ( length , heigth , diametr and capacity ) as well as the dose and flow rates of chemical injection .I've found some equations but it wasn't helpfull
some of equations are :
D =Q*X/d where D the total injection flow , X is the optimum dose ( 35 ppm of a coagulant and a 5 ppm of the flocculant) that's all
i need some documentation ( sheet or a standard ...)

Mariemm ,
Your equation is weird !
Just do a mass balance , of course you need input like property of the solution ( g active mater/liter) , quantity to be injected (kg/h) , the quantity you want to keep (minimum stock) , How often do you want to do replenishment ? this will give you an estimate of the size ,
some L/D standard for your tank then play around to get the best design to install agitator , Sensor , overflow ,....
Hope this helps
