Dear,

I am developing safety write-up for a olefine plants where we handle mixed C2/C3/C4 Liquid hydrocarbon. what should be drain procedure for these liquid? Can I drain it under Nitrogen pressure or Fuel gas (Mainly Methane)? However, Licensor is recommended not to drain under N2 pressure as this will reduce partial pressure of liquid which will result in low liquid temperature? I am not able to understand this phenomena.

Regards,

Pradeep Kumar
