Hi,

I am just correcting your statement, distillation point referred here corresponds to ASTM D86 95% recovery to max 360 deg C.

If you want to sell diesel it has to confirm to the applicable diesel specification. If that diesel spec states a maximum of 360 ^oC for 95% temperature but your diesel is 367 ^oC then you may not be able to sell it as diesel.

 

A higher 95% temperature will result in higher emission of soot in car exhaust.
