Hey guys,
I know as particle diameter increases, the pressure drop decreases, but i don't know the reason for this. Could someone please explain why this happens.
Help would be really appreciated.
thank you

gamer 900 ,
Let you try google "Darcy" or "Ergun correlation" , you should find your answer .
Basically , big particles offer less resistance ( bigger porosity) for the fluid thus less Head loss .
