Since you did not spell it out, I'll take a shot at it.
MOS - Mom Over Shoulder (Mom looking over my shoulder at my computer/phone/etc.)
POS - Parent(s) Over Shoulder (Parent(s) looking over my shoulder at my computer/phone/etc.)
The acronym finder I used had 115 meanings for MOS! Please spell out acronyms in their first use.
Btw, I have/had 5 teenagers and this was the first use for MOS I recognized in the acronym finder

When I googled "maintain over signal", I got "No results found for "maintain over signal"".
So, what is POS? Maybe I'll have better luck with that.

MOS is an acronym for Maintenance Override Switch that it is used to override a switch (e.g. level switch, temperature switch,...) for maintenance like flushing or replacement.
POS is an acronym for Process Override Switch; this switch can be used during start up of a machine to override a pressure switch, for example, that will prevent a compressor from starting.
