Hi,

I am designing a two phase flash separator, and i have sized the vessel and have moved onto sizing the internals.

I was just wondering what the design procedure of designing an inlet vane distributor for initial separation of the flow was, as I have been looking around and can't find a design procedure for this.

Thanks,

Ben

Thank you! This has helped a lot with the design of the vane box.

However, it hasn't got information on the vanes on the inside. Would you know how to calculate how many vanes are required inside the box?
