Will someone please tell me what titanium diiodide and titanium chloride are and what they are used for? I can't seem to find this information online.

Try with one i in dioxide. Both show on Wikipedia.

I believe that you have a typo in your query and really mean TITANIUM DIOXIDE, a common chemical used in paints, pigments and food colorings.
Which chloride of titanium do you mean? There are three common compounds:
- Titanium tetrachloride (titanium(IV) chloride), TiCl4
- Titanium trichloride (titanium(III) chloride), TiCl3
- Titanium dichloride (titanium(II) chloride), TiCl2
Detailed information on these compounds can be found easily by using the Google Search Engine and referring to Wikipedia.
