HI,

 

Can anyone elaborate on allowable tolernces on NTU and LMTD for a plate heat exchanger during the performance testing.

 

AHRI defines the tolerances on the heat transfer rate, pressure drop, temperature measurement and difference, but i could not find the allowable tolerance on the NTU and LMTD for a plate heat exchanger-Liquid to Liquid single phase heat transfer case.
