A stripper column does not have a condensor, or reflux, or rectifying trays. The column feed is on the top tray and the overhead vapor composition is resulting. It can only be used if the resulting bottoms product has a composition specification, but the overhead vapor does not have a composition specification.
A stripper column is normally used to remove light components from a liquid, by reboiling, or stripping with steam or another gas.
If not only the bottoms liquid but also the overhead vapor has a composition specification then a stripper column cannot be used and a proper distillation column has to be used.

It's very helpful. Thank you Mr. PingPong
